I got there early. I wanted to watch the sun #rise. I had no guarantee it would, but I spoke with the Only One who could know for certain. He never fails. His mercies are new with every new day. I got there early, because I wanted to be there when He made it rise again, one more sunrise, and one more day. He didn’t disappoint me. He never does. God is good… all the time!
Two years and nine months later, He’s made the sun rise and set more than a thousand times. I don’t know how many times the sun has risen since He first created it, or how many more times it will rise and set again, but I can tell you that between May 17, 2013 and today February 13, 2020, the sun has risen 1,006 times. Who but God knows if it’ll set tonight? Who can be certain to be here tonight when it finally sets again? Only God knows. He knows everything.
God knows everything about everything. He always has and He always will. There is absolutely nothing that has ever been known, or that could ever be known, that God doesn’t already know perfectly well. That’s comforting.
I have friends and family who
think l’m crazy. I understand. But l’m not turning back now just because others don’t believe. They don’t know everything. Only my God knows it all.
I pray God to bless the people of Panama. We are a small country with a big heart, and challenges to match. Investments in Panama continue to grow. Most of them focus on the land, structures, and plans but the people are forever.
The ocean is anything but pacific but the sound it makes is hypnotic. It could almost make me believe it’s forever - but it’s not; the souls of the people are. I look forward to a new heaven and a new earth, after this first heaven and this earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. I look forward to walking the streets of gold, like transparent glass.
Till then, this is a good place to be, do, and go. Maybe this image and its words will find their way to you. Let’s think of it as my message in a bottle to someone who is shipwrecked, or just wrecked, without hope. There is, you know? I, too, was lost but now l’m found. If He could find and rescue me, He can find and rescue you, too! Sounds crazy?
I’ll let you decide, but along with this message of mine to you, whether you find it in a bottle or in a cloud of sound, please know I thought of you and put in a word for you with The King.
He sees you, wherever you are. He can rescue you from whatever you’ve done or whatever others have done to you. He is good. He is God. He is good all the time.
I hope this message gets to you. Usually the one who’s shipwrecked sets the bottle afloat in hope of rescue. Since He already rescued me, I’m no longer lost, but I still remember the despair. I hope you accept His rescue. Maybe we can do this again sometime soon.
